The first funkstyle night battles is back in 2010!!
Celebrating with passion and styles, Dsoul’s Funkstyle Night is the competition not to be missed by all street dance enthusiasts! This event aims to promote the music, the culture, and mostly the scene of street dance in melbourne, which is gaining its popularity progressively amongst people, especially the youngsters. Through displaying their dance skills and techniques, the competitors are offered the chance to win one of the most glamorous titles in the street dance community, and some quite attractive cash prizes!
If you have interest in poppin, lockin or any street dance styles in general, wanting to learn and experience the music and culture, please join our dsoul family and just let loose and have fun.
Rules:
Two categories, 1on1 Hiphop and 1on1 popping are included.
- 1 minute limit to each person each round.
- 2 rounds for each competitor before advancing to the next.
Judges:
- Popping: Oba (UK bboy championship 07 Japan, semi-finalist)
- Hiphop: competitors decide

Cash Prizes:
- $50 for winning
- $20 runner-up
